We’re delighted to officially announce that Ocki has agreed to return as the club’s professional for the 2022 season. Having made a brilliant start to his time at boohoo.com Turf Moor, it’s welcome news to everyone associated with the club.
On top of averaging 52 and 67 with the bat in League and Cup, respectively, he’s made a huge impact off the pitch too. Club Captain, Dan Pickup, says,
“Ocki has proved a valuable addition to the club over the past couple of seasons, both on and off the field. His passion and enthusiasm is a great example for the younger players.”
What’s great to hear is that the feeling’s mutual, as Ocki said this,
“I’m delighted and grateful to the club for extending my contract. Hopefully we can start the second half of the season well and push for the top spot.
“Both me and Robyn have been welcomed in and thoroughly enjoyed our time thus far and are looking forward to the next year!”
